Mayan Potato 6 /马研薯6号

Mayan Potato 6 is a potato chip processing variety. Compared with the Atlantic variety, it has a longer growth period and higher drought tolerance and barren tolerance. In the dryland trial in Anding District, the yield reached approximately 2 tons, demonstrating its potential for promotion in rain-fed agriculture. In the Hexi irrigation area, under good water and fertilizer conditions, its yield is generally consistent with that of the Atlantic variety, and the rate of internal defects such as brown spot and hollow heart is nearly zero. The tuber dry matter content is about 24%, with starch content exceeding 17%, and the reducing sugar level remains below 0.1% even after one month of storage. It has now been promoted in Hexi and provided to companies such as Pepsi for frying tests, receiving positive feedback.

马研薯6号属于薯片加工品种，相对于大西洋品种，其生育期较长，耐旱性耐瘠薄性都比较高，在安定区旱地试验中产量达到2吨左右的水平，具有雨养马铃薯推广价值。在河西灌区，水肥条件好的情况下，与大西洋产量基本一致，但比如褐斑、空心等内部缺陷率基本为零。块茎干物质含量24%左右，淀粉17点多，还原糖在储藏一个月之后测试还是低于0.1%。目前已经在河西推广，提供给百事等公司做油炸测试，反馈比较好。
