LK Potato (Dingxi Potato Research Institute), established in 1998, has been dedicated to the production of potato minitubers for over two decades. It was the first institution in Dingxi to introduce and promote virus-free seed potato production technology. For more than 20 years, the institute has been engaged in the research, production, and sale of virus-free minitubers, foundation seeds, and commercial potatoes. Currently, it possesses facilities for potato scientific research, experimentation, and production, including capabilities for potato breeding, tissue culture, minituber production, and virus disease testing. The institute annually produces 60 million virus-free test-tube plantlets and nearly 100 million potato minitubers. It is authorized to produce over 20 outstanding potato varieties from both domestic and international sources. Its minituber products are sold across all major potato-producing regions in China, with approximately 10% exported annually to countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. In 2017, the Xiangquan Minituber Production Base of the Dingxi Potato Research Institute was approved as a National Demonstration Zone for Standardized Production of Virus-free Potato Minitubers and an Export Base for Chinese Potato Minitubers. In 2019, it was awarded the title of New Type R&D Institution by the Gansu Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Currently, the institute holds independent intellectual property rights for 5 potato varieties, 2 invention patents, and 4 scientific and technological achievements. In 2024, the Dingxi Potato Research Institute Testing Center was established, which will undertake the task of monitoring and detecting viral diseases throughout the entire production process of the institute. In 2025, the project “Integration and Application of Key Technologies for Improving Quality and Efficiency in the Potato Industry” was awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Gansu Province.

莱柯土豆（定西马铃薯研究所）成立于1998年，迄今专注于马铃薯原原种生产已经有20多个年头，是最早在定西引入推广脱毒种薯生产技术的单位。20多年来，一直从事马铃薯脱毒原原种，原种和商品薯的研究、生产与销售工作。目前拥有包括马铃薯育种、组培、原原种生产、病毒病害检测等马铃薯科研、试验、生产设施，年生产马铃薯脱毒试管苗6000万株、马铃薯原原种近1亿粒。得到授权生产的国内外的优秀马铃薯品种20多个，原原种产品销售遍及中国马铃薯主产区，每年约有10%出口到中东及东南亚的一些国家。2017年定西马铃薯研究所香泉原原种生产基地获批为国家马铃薯脱毒原原种标准化生产示范区，中国马铃薯原原种出口生产基地，2019年被甘肃省科技厅授予甘肃省新型研发机构称号。目前拥有自主知识产权马铃薯品种5个，发明专利2件，科技成果4项， 2024年成立定西马铃薯研究所检测中心，检测中心将承担定西马铃薯研究所生产全过程的病毒病害监测检测任务。2025年马铃薯产业提质增效关键技术集成与应用获得甘肃省科技进步二等奖。
